Over the years of reviewing sexytime tools for the Toy With Mes, I’ve come across quite a few of them. So you might call me something of an expert.  Since there are so many toys, and only so many ways one might use them, one of my challenges is figuring out what differentiates one toy from the next because seriously?  There’s only so many ways to honk your hooter and after a while these things all start looking alike to me, no matter how innovative they may be.

One thing I’ve learned by doing this gig is that when it comes to toys, like anything else, you get what you pay for. Sure, a simple, cheap dildo can get the job done, but sometimes you want something full of Awesome.  Sometimes you want the luxury and the comfort and the durability and the ease of use. And sometimes, every once in a while, a toy comes out that is really pretty different from the others.

The Jimmyjane Form 3 is one of those toys.

I started by taking it out of the box because that’s always the first step, right? I mean, you can’t just go shoving a box up your noonie can you?  Nay, nay.  Square box, round hole, not gonna work, yo.

Once out of the box, I noticed that it’s a tongue!

Ooooooooo.  A tongue!

It looks very much like an extended, slightly curved and cupped tongue.  Now, I’ve read that designers Yves Behar and Ethan Imboden did NOT intend for it to be reminiscent of a tongue… it just turned out that way!  I find this hard to believe, but whatever dudes, we’ll go along with your little story.  Regardless, the tongue is joined to/part of a “handle,” which is around the size and shape of an egg. Overall, the Form 3 is about 4″ long to the tip of the tongue and 2″ wide at the fattest part of the egg part.

Like all other Jimmyjane toys, this is also beautiful. It’s as beautiful as a sex toy can be. No giant, “realistic” cock with veins and hairy balls, this is more like a palm-sized, smoothly rounded and seamless sculpture, reminiscent of a computer mouse. Put in on your desk and only the most astute would even notice it.

The tongue portion is soft and flexible yet firm. Think of the consistency of an ear, which is pretty close—it’s like cartilage. The center of the tongue is thin and soft, while the outside edge is thicker and firmer. The intended use is to provide vibration via your own touch, pushing and pressing through the thin middle part of the tongue. Jimmyjane calls this “amplified touch.” That’s the theory.

In practice, I didn’t find this method very, shall-we-say, “fruitful,” but that didn’t stop me from enjoying the toy in my own way. Despite the fact that I am more of an “insertion” kinda gal, I thought the vibrations passing through the thick rim of the tongue was quite dreamy–no finger pressure necessary. Because of the shape and consistency of the tongue, it was easy to really pinpoint the stimulation and control the pressure, firm but not too hard.

Typical of Jimmyjane toys, the Form 3 is made from medical-grade, phthalate-free platinum silicone and stainless steel. The silicone has a nice satin finish that feels almost velvety. Though a water-based lube is recommended for use on ANY silicone toy, I tested silicone-based lube and there was absolutely no degradation (*as is the case on all of the higher-end silicone toys I’ve tested in the last few years).

Like many other microprocessor-controlled vibrators, it offers multiple patterns (four) and multiple intensity levels (five). My personal favorite is the binary ON-OFF-ON-OFF burst at full intensity. For such a small vibrator it is remarkably intense! Three buttons control all the functions: speed up, speed down, and pattern.

It’s rechargeable by means of placing it atop a small base that plugs into a wall-mount AC adapter. The base makes contact with two concentric metal contacts on the bottom of the vibrator.. no jacks, cords, or plugs to insert. The contacts are smooth and can even be used as a hard vibrating surface during play and don’t worry—you won’t get electrocuted.  My husband promises!  Placing the Form 3 in the cradle will turn it off if it is running, and a small light lets you know it’s charging. Using a lithium ion battery, the overall size remains remarkably small considering it can run over seven hours on a full charge!

It is completely waterproof and submersible. Not only does that mean you could have fun in your shower if you wanted to, it also makes it very easy to clean with soap and water, right in the sink, after a romp. Finally, though I’ve never had to use it, Jimmyjane’s standard three-year warranty is one of the best in the business.

I’m gonna tell you why.

Usually with a G-spot style vibe, there is a pronounced curvature. They’re designed this way to allow the user to put a greater degree of upwards pressure on the anterior wall of the vagina, where the ganglion of happy nerves called the G-spot resides. Since every vagina is a special special snowflake, they’re all built a little differently: some vaginas are shorter and others are longer. As if that weren’t enough, some G-spots are very close to the entrance of the vagina, and some are much further back. The end result of all this variation, and a “one size fits all” curvature to a toy, is that the user has to sort of maneuver the toy in and out while maintaining the upward pressure to locate the G-spot. Once it’s found, you kind of have to pay attention to keep the toy in the same place doing its job.

Now, out of the box, the G-Ki has that same characteristic curve. It’s about the same curve as the edge of a dinner plate, for comparison. This is on the “gentler” side for G-spot vibes, allowing for a deeper penetration. The entire vibe is a little less than ten inches long, and there’s nothing stopping you from inserting the entire thing (it’s water-proof and there are no protruding buttons or sharp edges) if that’s what it takes–some folks do enjoy a little fornix and/or cervical stimulation after all. Fully extended, this can get you there.

On the side of the G-Ki there are two slightly raised buttons, and these are the key to its unique feature: by pressing the buttons and bending the vibe, you can adjust and lock the curvature. At its “tightest” setting, the pressure point of the tip would be around two inches in. At this point the vibe looks like a letter J. That’s a pretty wide range of adjustability!

The benefit of actually setting the curve to fit your anatomy is two-fold:

First, it helps for consistency and peace of mind–once you find your sweet spot, you can go to town on it without having to constantly reposition either the toy or yourself. As we all know these adjustments can sometimes be distracting and counterproductive to concentrating on the task at hand. This is much more foolproof once set up. You slide it in until the handle is resting on your pubic bone and BAM it’s right where it needs to be. How cool is that? The forward bend also makes it easier to hold the handle and access the controls with the tips of your fingers.

Second, and just as importantly, because the outside handle part of the vibe is placed right up against the labia and pubic bone, it can provide additional stimulation to the clitoris. This was great for me, since my G-spot has never been able to close the deal all by itself. Having my love button directly stimulated while simultaneously getting to the G-spot was something that I could only do with two toys (and two hands) and it was a LOT more hassle. With the G-Ki I was able to do it easily.

The G-Ki is super easy to control, with just four buttons total: two on the side, which release the locks on the articulating joints, and two on the top, to control on/off, vibe speed/intensity, and vibration pattern. The patterns are typical: variable speed steady on, pulse on off slow and fast, ramp slow and fast, etc. Vibe strength was good, and it feels like there are two motors in the housing: one in the G-spot tip, and another in the handle. Although the entire housing is wrapped in silky, high quality silicone, the handle is firmer than the tip. That’s a good thing, in my opinion, since it allows for plenty of pressure on the exterior vulva while still maintaining softness and comfort on the inside.

As is typically found on higher-end vibes, the G-Ki is rechargeable. One of the more interesting features of the vibe is the way the charger is attached: it’s a magnetic pad that sticks to the metal control buttons and makes the electrical contact that way. No plugs or flaps or other stuff to open–just place the charger pad near the buttons and click it sticks right on. An LED tells you that it’s charging and when it’s done.

There’s also a one year manufacturer’s warranty, so if it breaks or doesn’t work right, you’re covered.

So if you’ve ever been frustrated and not able to find your G-Spot with traditional G-Spot toys, or if you HAVE found your G-spot but been fed up with positioning your toys, this is the one for you!  I have to warn you though, your social life might suffer and your friends might think you’ve got a little secret lover on the side because they won’t hear from you for days on end.  You may lose your job because you’re too busy getting to know yourself in a whole new, awesomely mind-blowing way.  Try explaining that to people! “I lost my job due to… carpal tunnel. I have to tell you Toy with Mes that I am a girl who likes her foreplay and a little lickety of the split, if you know what I mean.  In fact, without those appetizers to help get my juices flowing, I don’t really get off when we get to the main course. So when I opened this–my newest box of love–I was really, very excited in many ways.  In fact, I think a little bit of pee came out.  Or it was… well, never mind.  Bottom line is that I was excited because inside the box I found the SaSi vibrator.

First off, this vibe looks like no other I’ve seen before. When I took it out of the box, for a second I thought, “Why did they send me a mouse?” (Not a rodent mouse, sillies, but a computer mouse. What sets this vibe off from the others is that this “finger” has a bunch of motions it can do, like line shapes (side to side, up and down), J shapes, semi circles, arcs, etc… the manual lists eleven. Not only can the movement type be specified, but also the speed (low, medium, high).

My husband had better watch out, because it actually learns and remembers the motions you like best!  YES!  IT DOES!  It’s crazy, I know, but it’s completely true! There are two modes: favorites, and customize.

Favorites mode holds five individual nub movement patterns. You cycle through the programs manually, by clicking on the left and right control buttons. Pressing the up or down buttons momentarily will adjust the speed of the nub, while holding them adjusts the pattern and speed of the vibe (which can be turned off if you just like the movement alone).

Customize mode is a little different: SaSi will automatically cycle through the eleven movement patterns for you. A very attentive and ingenious partner! Every twenty seconds it’ll change it up and start a different movement pattern. You can use the left and right buttons to skip to the previous or next patterns if you want. If you start to feel the magic, press the middle button and SaSi will keep and hold that movement until the big finale (or until the batteries die, at least). Once you’ve entered the “Don’t Stop” mode, SaSi remembers that pattern and it will be used as one of your five favorite most liked movements in the other mode.

You can switch between the modes at any time and as often as you like. However, to change modes you do have to power off the SaSi and power it back on again.

The SaSi is small and of an easily portable, discreet size (around 5 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ x 1 1/2″).  Plus, like I said earlier, it doesn’t look like your standard sex toy. I can tell you it’s a hell of a lot easier to stash than a life-sized rubber fist, or a ten-inch-long two-inch-thick veiny cock and balls. I’m just sayin’.

The SaSi’s lithium-ion batteries are rechargeable via the provided adapter, so you never need to remember to buy any–or run out of spares at the worst moment. A full charge takes less than two hours and will run the toy for over an hour straight. The latex and phthalate-free water-resistant medical-grade silicone cover is removable in case you want to use soap and water to clean it, or if you want to change the color, or if it becomes damaged and needs to be replaced. Since it is silicone, you mustn’t use silicone based lubes with the SaSi: water or oil based only!

This is a toy for those of us who like it slow and steady and juicy as can be.  The vibrator is plenty powerful and provides typical vibrator sensations, but the unique aspect of the SaSi is the robotic nub. Trust me, it really does feel like a tongue/finger sliding over and around you–and who doesn’t like that? Before I had even used it the first time, when I first charged it up and turned it on, I actually found myself watching the nub move and falling into a little hypnotic trance as it wiggled to and fro. As is the norm from LELO, it’s made from very nice, high-end materials that won’t give you The Cunt Cancer from nasties like phthalates.  In case you don’t know, phthalates are plasticizers–stuff that makes hard plastic softer.  The problem is that they are known endocrine disruptors and estrogen mimics.  For that reason alone, you need to avoid them whenever possible.  They’ve also been linked to metabolic disorders like obesity and hepatocarcinogenicity.   What’s scarier, is that both phthalates and parabens can show up in your urine a mere 20 minutes(!) after application of a cosmetic or body care product that contains them.  Clearly, they are absorbed into the body very quickly so it’s important to avoid them because you don’t want to have to explain to your doctor that you got fat and caught the Cunt Cancer from your cheaply made vibrator, do you?

I’m glad we cleared that up.

Anyway, LELO SORAYA  is fully rechargeable by plugging it into the wall, and will last up to four hours on a charge.  Four hours is about three and a half more than I need, but it’s nice to know the reserve is there. It has multiple speeds, pulse patterns and, as I mentioned, it’s fully waterproof.  I particularly like the waterproof feature because I get bored in the bathtub.  After I play with my bath fizzies in the palm of my hand, and I do my little twisting and stretching in the warm water, and I sip my wine, and drum Ode to Joy with my fingernails on the side of the tub,  there’s really not much else to do in the bath…until now.

LELO SORAYA  is what is called a dual-action vibrator, offering “multiple pleasures” in that it stimulates your vajeen as well as Dolores the Clitoris.  The clitoral stimulator is super flexible, much more so than INA’s. I think because of that flexibility, you could probably spin it around and put it in your bummy area if you felt so inclined. I haven’t tried doing that yet, but to be honest I get kind of excited thinking about it.

More gradual from inside to outside.  It’s… just…  You need to try it because the only words I have for you are FUCK. YEAH. In fact, I asked Toy with Me if that could be my whole review since after using this toy I was sort of a blithering idiot and that’s all I could say for hours afterward because it was that good. They thought it might be better if I could include more detail beyond “FUCK. YEAH.”, so here we are.

It’s been a running joke that I’ve had an abysmal collection of sex toys. I was actually intimidated by the LELO  INA when it first arrived because it doesn’t look like anything I’ve ever seen.  It looks sorta like a one armed cactus– the thicker part is the part that vibrates inside of you, and the cactus arm is a clitoral stimulator.  I’ve never tried anything quite like it, and honestly?  I was a little scared.  I mean, a cactus in my twidget? EEEK!!!

I’m also scared of things that spin too fast, kites, balloons, my garbage disposal, tall buildings, and clowns, so you can’t really go by me in the “normal and reasonable fears” department.

Anyway,  upon opening the package I also thought the diameter of the internal vibrator part was  sorta thick.  Looks like a fat bratwurst.  My husband measured it and it turned out to be around 4.5″ circumference, which means nothing to me.  Then he said that it wouldn’t be a problem (and with a little looby-doo he was totally right).

Additionally, the clitoral stimulator part of the LELO INA was a little rigid and also kinda thick.  This was also not a problem and I’m really glad because I was prepared to break my vagina giving this baby a whirl.  I am that dedicated to this website.

So, it’s confession time. The time when I’m honest with all of you about how I’m a big ungrateful snobby-snob and how I’ve learned my lesson. Yes, this is the type of sex toy review that ends with a lesson. Ready? Okay.

I opened the box and at first I was like, “Eh.” And my roommate was all, “What’s wrong?” And I’m like, “I already have a LELO toy!” And she’s all, “Um, so??” And I’m like, “The one I have is a clit stimulator and this is like a for real vibrator and I don’t like those as much and, well, mehhhh.” And she’s all, “You’re ridiculous,” which I think actually meant, “You and your vagina are seriously ungrateful.”

So I put off using my LELO MONA for a while, thinking things like, “It can’t be that good” and “I’m having plenty of sex, who needs this?” But then the time rolled around where I had to write about it, and in order to write about it, I had to use it. (Listen to my snobby ass, “had” to use it. What a torturous and awful life I have!)

I removed it from its box, plugged it into its wall charger, let it charge for two hours, and, when it was done charging, I just carried it around for a while. To charge your We Vibe and change speeds, you turn the upper head to face you.  There are dimples that look like a face.  The two eyes are switches to control speed and pulsations by pressing them to the right or left.  The “mouth” part is where you plug it into the wall charger.
