Believe it or not, this toy tester extraordinaire was still a virgin of sorts, until the other day. While my esteemed post of researcher du erotica sees me constantly discovering new and unbridled ways to give myself a treat, there is one pleasure zone I had not entered. Inspired by the innovative Tantus Revolve dildo, I ventured alright, and earned a newfound appreciation for sauntering in the back door. If I had known I’d enjoy anal play as much as I did with the Revolve, I would’ve ventured into virginal territory years ago. Hind[end]sight is 20/20.
This unique toy, one in Tantus’ Alumina collection of four mix and match dildos, features a trio of graduating bumps on one end and a large ball on the other. With either end in the game, vaginal/g-spot or anal stimulation is the MVP. In the middle of this dildo is a black rubber O-ring where the toy unscrews and can be matched with the various shapes and sizes of the Motion, Flow and Pace dildos. Gold star to Tantus for giving us a scrumptious puzzle to put together in whichever way tickles our fancy at any given moment.

The Alumina line is crafted of lightweight, aeronautic grade, body-safe aluminum and believe me, the connection to rockets is most fitting for this state-of-the-art toy with the moxie to send you climaxing into orbit. As with every Tantus toy since the company’s 1998 debut, the Revolve is hand-made in the U.S. Its silky brushed aluminum is anodized to be corrosion and wear resistant, and if you ever wear the thing out, just toss it in the recycle bin with your soda cans.
I bit off my share of forbidden fruit with a little trip to Eden Fantasys and a promising investment of $79.99. My new pleasure arrived in a lovely black box with the Revolve silhouetted in silver, and the real thing in my favorite color of gorgeous purple nestled in dark grey form-fitting foam. Hello lover. I scooped it up and was struck by its significant lightness compared to stainless steel. The instructions are pleasing to the eye, showcasing photos of the rest of the Alumina collection. They touted aluminum as holding temperature very well, and I discovered that they have every right to toot this horn. Tantalize your senses to full tilt by soaking the Revolve in warm water or giving it a time out in the fridge, and be amazed at this metal’s stellar ability to quickly conduct temperature throughout the dildo.
I always have a side of vibe with my dildo. This time, it would be my tasty Little Chroma (see review). The Revolve can be used with any type of lube, and I chose one of my favorites, Liquid Silk (see review). I usually put the vibe to work first, but in the Alumina spirit of mixing things up, I started with the dildo, lubing up and inserting it before I powered up the vibe. As my date with the Little Chroma progressed, the Revolve was warming to my body temperature. And I was hot–my little duo delivered an astronomical clit orgasm, toot sweet. But the temperature wasn’t finished rising. I was pumped up to try for the big squirt!
Natural as could be, the first two bumps of the Revolve’s trio end went in. I stopped there, with the biggest bump a bit too much for me, but by all means–to each her own! The lightweight aluminum and ball shape of the opposite end made thrusting very easy on my wrist, as I slowly worked myself into a heated frenzy. It found my g-spot, but I couldn’t get things flowing, so I switched to the other end and slid the larger ball effortlessly into my very aroused vagina. I was extremely turned on, balling myself with different angles and pressures. Horny as all get out, I still didn’t gush, so I let my rectum and the Revolve’s smallest bump get jiggy with some Liquid Silk and gently, slowly moved it in and out. Wow! What I had been missing. This felt wonderful! Add the Little Chroma to my clit and I was smiling like the Cheshire cat.
Reaching stimulation of frantic proportions, I was going back for the ultimate prize among g-spot orgasm contenders. I inserted the single ball end into my vagina again and found my g-spot, but it was hit and miss, without enough of the hits to reach Mecca. No worries though, the Revolve did introduce me to a divine new world of bootylicious stimulation!

Ooh fantastic review! I have this dildo and I love it also. The aluminum is so good at holding temperature, I like to soak mine is hot water before using it, makes it feel sooooo good. This toy rocks and I love the shape.
I have both the Revolve and Motion and I consistently reach for the Motion over the Revolve. The Motion is AWESOME vaginally. I highly recommend it. Plus, they’re interchangeable. Although I don’t find myself using the feature much.
