I Lost My Virginity

frenemiesHey Toy With Me’s – exciting news!  I can’t help but gush, after all I just lost my virginity!!

I know what you are thinking, get the fuck out, you’re not a virgin!  You write reviews about the bits & pieces your whoha has tried, all in the name of “research”.  Well it wasn’t that virginity you pervs.  I was a podcast virgin.
Yesterday I sat down with Dr. Dick, yes that famous Dick, from Dr. Dicks Sex Advice I had a blast chatting him up about The Sex.  He’s an excellent conversationalist who knows his stuff and the same Dr. Dick who interviewed Our very own Aunt Becky from mommywantsvodka.com You can listen to the podcast in it’s entirety by going here or you can also check it out over at Carnal Nation.

  1. For those interested in part II of my podcast with Dr. Dick it will be up athttp://www.drdicksexadvice.com/2010/05/19/podcast… on Wednesday May 26th. This time we focus on "Sex Toys!!"

  2. Great interview.

I enjoyed your discussion on menopause. It's not an easy challenge for either party, as I have first hand experience with it… spousal side, not the hot flashes and such. It can take quite a toll on a relationship, even when you (supposedly) know what you're facing. Whatever you think it's going to be like, you need to strap in for at least 2x beyond that. That's what I found.

I also thought that your comments on not losing your sex life to be quite appropriate and hit close to home for me. When the sex goes, an important part of the relationship goes with it. For me, It's about much more than just the physical sexual act. What is lost just can't be made up for in other ways — it's not the same. You turn into roommates. For us, that was the beginning of the end.

Finally, I'm glad I stumbled across your site and represent part of the male contingent who is part of your online world. Watching what goes on and participating I prompting me to question the things I know to be true and ultimately be open to things that I haven't been open to before. At this point in my life, that's a good thing.

    • It's refreshing to hear a man's feedback on menopause. Dealing with someone going through menopause can be trying and challenging. Perhaps men should have a site where they can vent / share / laugh about their trials and tribulations of living with a menopausal woman.

Sex is the key to a healthy relationship for a good majority of people. When the sex is gone so goes the communication. Without the two usually irreparable damage is done in the relationship. I am sorry to hear that things did not work out.

I am glad that at Toy With Me has been a positive place for you to visit. Thanks for sharing and listening to my podcast. 🙂
