(On a 4x4 moveable platform and no upper mounting, but that's another story...) Especially since bronze is so porous, we needed to use it a lot. If you can find something to dry out your hands that helps a lot as well. Then whatever pores are in the metal pick up less oils and it stays dryer and safer for longer.
