Do your Kegels!
Every woman has heard that refrain dozens, if not hundreds of times. And we’ve all gotten bored with the “do them at a stop light” routine. I’m all for keeping my PC muscles tight and well trained, but there’s gotta be a better way!
Ben Wa balls are not my favorite trick in the book. Sure, they’re fun, but for those of us who get a bit lubricious, no amount of clenching will hold small, smooth metal balls in place. I hope you’re wearing panties when they slip out. I wasn’t.
Then I met Ami!
Ami is from Je Joue, and it’s a combination toy and training device. And a whole lot of fun.
Let’s start with the box. Je Joue gets things right. Their toys come in boxes attractive enough to leave on your dresser. Inside Ami’s pretty little box are three insertable balls. The balls are covered in a soft material and feature a simple loop for removal. More on that thing later. The largest ball is also the lightest and the softest. The medium double ball is slightly harder and heavier and the smallest double ball is the heaviest and hardest. There are complete instructions on how to use these toys.
So much for the facts, now on to the reality.
The balls are fairly easy to insert, though if you need to use lube to insert them, be sure it’s water based. You want a lube that will dissipate, absorb or dry so the balls are not too slippery while inside your vagina.
I found they were more comfortable if I inserted them upside down – with the little loop to the top. Otherwise, the loop tended to stick out and pinch labia. Ouch. One friend has labia piercings and said hers caught on one of her rings. Really ouch. It does make removal a bit more challenging, but I can insert one finger inside my vagina and bear down slightly and the ball will pop right into my hand.
For me, the large ball is comfortable and easy to wear but no challenge. However, it does make doing Kegel exercises a whole lot of fun! Clenching around the larger ball just flat out feels good. This is the starter ball, and it’s what I’ll use if I just want to keep my mind on my bits without worrying about the toy.
The medium ball feels much more obvious to me, I don’t have to clench to hold it in, but I tend to just on reflex. I can still feel this one when I clench down, and the weight is a very nice sensation. This one is great around the house, or for short jaunts like out to dinner or to the movies.
The heaviest ball is the most difficult for me. I have to actively engage my muscles to hold this one in place. It’s also very, very, very much fun to wear around for a few hours before sex. After a few hours of clenching down on that little ball, your muscles are a bit tired.
Warning, you might suddenly think your man just got bigger.
Ami is just sexy!
No matter which ball you use, no matter how good, or how bad your Kegel’s are, there’s one thing Ami does really well. With one of those little balls in place, a part of your brain will stay firmly rooted in your bits. It’s like a naughty little secret that nobody else knows.
Want a recipe for a very hot night? Slip one of these inside your vagina before you and your man go out. On the way out, whisper to him what you’ve done. Go about your evening, as usual. When things get hot and heavy, have him help you take out the toy, then immediately replace it with his hard penis. Trust me, you’ll both love the sensations!
Just be warned, you might be a bit juicy.
Ami 1 – A large, soft and lightweight single ball. If you’re new to kegel exercisers or you’re out of practice, start here.
Ami 2 – A medium-sized double ball that’s still soft yet slightly heavier. Try Ami 2 if exercising with Ami 1 doesn’t challenge you enough.
Ami 3 – A small, hard and heavy double ball. This is the most advanced Ami for experienced users.
